Commissioning of industrial control systems

Efficient delivery of complete automation systems

A successful automation solution stands or falls with careful commissioning. At Kwadrant IA, we take the entire process off your hands: from assembly and cabling to functional testing, software sampling and final delivery. Our commissioning engineers verify that hardware, software and field components function as a single system, both on site and in a test environment.

We supervise each project with knowledge of SCADA, HMI and PLC controls and ensure safe, standards-compliant delivery. We do this according to standards such as NEN60204-1, NEN3140 and, if applicable, UL/CSA certification. Our experience covers sectors such as mechanical engineering, infrastructure, water management and food. Thus, we ensure that control systems function reliably in any industrial environment.

Commissioning for Mechanical Engineering

Like an experienced conductor perfecting the last note, Kwadrant IA ensures seamless commissioning of your projects. As a flexible player in the world of commissioning, we act quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality or durability. Enter our world of operational excellence and discover how we can optimize your mechanical engineering projects with skilled commissioning.

Coherence within our overall solution

Successful commissioning is never an isolated event. It is the capstone of a careful process that starts with engineering and ends with a working system on site. Kwadrant IA delivers this complete process: from hardware and software development to installation, test and delivery. Crucial phase in industrial automation

Commissioning is the last but most critical step within industrial automation. In this phase, everything comes together: from engineering and cabling to software and final inspection. Kwadrant IA ensures that systems are commissioned safely, reliably and to the right standards.

For efficient commissioning, hardware, software and field components are integrated and tested in advance. Think of PLC controls, control panels, SCADA systems and sensors. Through early validation, for example through a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), we minimize risks on site.

During on-site commissioning, our engineers perform extensive functional tests, including I/O verification, safety tests and communication verification via protocols such as Profibus or Profinet. Everything is done according to relevant guidelines such as NEN60204-1, NEN3140 and IEC standards.

After successful Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), the system is formally delivered to the customer. In the process, Gerbin also provides the transfer of documentation, DWG files, manuals and maintenance advice. If required, we provide guidance for initial production runs or operator training.

Industrial automation with international standards

Industrial automation requires more than just a correctly constructed panel. We start with the architecture of the system and make conscious choices in component selection, standardization and scalability. By fully mastering engineering, panel construction and integration, we realize control systems that perform reliably in demanding industrial environments. From modular construction to international compliance, every detail is focused on quality, longevity and manageable Total Cost of Ownership.

We do not build standard solutions, but technically sound systems that match the complexity of modern mechanical engineering.

Commissioning with the certainty of Kwadrant IA

Kwadrant IA combines technical depth with practical experience in a variety of industries. Whether it’s a new production line, a retrofit job or a complete SCADA-controlled system, we ensure that everything performs reliably, safely and to standard. Thanks to our structured working method, knowledge of industrial standards and direct cooperation with the customer, we achieve smooth and controlled commissioning at home and abroad.
